In The Mood- September Edition

Hello, September! Last month, my family and I took a quick trip to Cabo to savor the final weeks of summer before my daughter Margot started school. This is her first year attending full-time, and saying goodbye at drop-off was an emotional moment for us both. I’m so excited for this new chapter in her life, but it’s hard to believe how quickly she’s growing up—I wish time would slow down!

 September marks the start of fall, and I’m eager for cooler weather (even though us Houstonians know that’s still a ways off—but we like to pretend!). Warmer colors are on my mind, and this month, I’ve chosen Camel. It’s the perfect transitional shade for fall: warm without being too dark. Whether it’s a classic camel trench coat or a leather ottoman, this color brings a cozy, inviting feel to any space.
